Scholarships for

International Students

Numbers are important when we are looking at the cost of a college education. If you will be a first-time or transfer international undergraduate student at Morningside, see below for an idea of how scholarships can help.

International Students at Morningside

While you study far from home, Morningside will become your second family.

Please apply online so that your application is processed quickly and correctly.

We consider applications based on:

  • Academic records
  • Standardized test scores
  • Student activities
  • Recommendations from teachers and counselors
  • The fact that you come from a different country and background

We require the TOEFL, Duolingo for English, ACT, SAT or IELTS for admission to Morningside University. You must get a minimum of one of the following scores to apply:

  • Paper TOEFL: 500
  • Computer-based TOEFL: 173
  • Internet-based TOEFL: 61

        Duolingo for English: 80

  • ACT: 20
  • SAT: 1030
  • IELTS: 5

If you are a first-year student:

Please submit:

  • Your final official high school transcript in its original language.
  • An official certified English translation of your final high school transcript. The translation should include the conversion of grades into U.S. grade equivalencies on a 4.0 scale.
  • TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo for English, ACT or SAT scores.
  • Proof of high school graduation.
  • Financial Aid Form

If you are a transfer student:

Please submit:

  • Your final official high school transcript in its original language.
  • An official certified English translation of all final transcripts (high school and college). The translation should include the conversion of grades into U.S. grade equivalencies on a 4.0 scale. The translation of the college transcript(s) should include conversion into U.S. credit equivalencies (semester hours), broken down by semester.
  • Proof of high school graduation.
  • Proof that each college is accredited.
  • Financial aid form.

You must provide all of the above information, and pay any costs incurred by such.

We provide financial assistance to qualified international students. However, funds are limited and competitive. International students are eligible for scholarships, based on academic achievement.

You must be a residential student on our campus to receive these scholarships. 

In order to apply for financial aid, you or your family must fill out our financial aid form online.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION 2024-2025

If you wish to participate in sports at Morningside, please contact our Athletics Department for eligibility requirements.

You must submit information to the NAIA Eligibility Center to be processed and certified.
