To kick off the summer, the Morningside University is hosting Summer Vibes at Morningside for alumni, friends, and the community. On Thursday, June 4 at 5:30 PM we will have various food trucks available, a bouncy house for kids, and representatives from Sioux City Fire and Rescue and Sioux City Police Department to give tours of their police car and a fire engine– all located on the Hilker Campus Mall in the center of Morningside’s campus. Above the Covers will play in the Buhler Outdoor Performance Center from 7 PM – 8:30 PM. The concert, bouncy house, and police/fire tours are FREE and the food trucks are cash/card depending on what they accept. This is an alcohol free event, so bring the whole family! Parking is recommended near the Krone Center and Science Center and can be accessed from Morningside and Garretson avenues.
