MEET THE GUEST CLINICIANS

Henry-Hey

Henry Hey, Piano

Sioux City Native, Henry Hey, has an innate curiosity and unique ability to bring multiple musical influences together. This is probably because everything from the Beatles to Bach to Count Basie to the sound of Henry’s own father playing various musical instruments could be heard at any time in his childhood home.

Karyn-Quinn

Karyn Quinn, Bass

Karyn Quinn is a bassist in demand throughout the Midwest for her unique ability to supply just the right “bottom line,” harmonically and stylistically, for a wide range of musical experiences. Equally accomplished as a classical, pop, standards, musical theatre and jazz player, Karyn performs regularly with the La Crosse Jazz Orchestra, Safe Passage Jazz Quartet, Optimism Jazz Sextet, Viterbo University Conservatory for the Performing Arts and the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra.
