Annual Traditions at Morningside

Homecoming - Homecoming is generally held in early fall and is an opportunity for alumni and friends to attend reunion events, tour campus, and take part in a variety of activities throughout the weekend.

Christmas at Morningside - A remarkable holiday tradition, this event showcases the incredible talent found within Morningside's music department and is a magical way to celebrate the season.

Waitt Lecture - Established by Morningside alumnus Norm Waitt, Jr., the Waitt Lecture series brings nationally and internationally known speakers to Morningside to share their expertise and experiences.

Undergraduate Commencement - The undergraduate commencement ceremony typically takes place on the front lawn of Morningside College in mid-May.

Graduate Commencement - Graduates of the Graduate Nursing, DNP, and Graduate Education programs walk the stage in Eppley Auditorium in mid-June of each year.
