Women’s volleyball finishes with a final score of 0-3 against Hastings College.
The Morningside women’s volleyball team took on nationally ranked number 11 Hastings College on Saturday, Sept. 15. The Broncos came into the match with an overall record of 7-2, while the Mustangs headed to Hastings, Neb. with a 7-5 overall record. The first set brought a score of 25-16, while the second set finished with Hastings ahead 25-18 and the third and final set brought scores of 25-23. Krista Zenk topped the Mustangs with 11 kills and Kayla Harris finished with 17 digs. Some overall totals for the Mustangs were 28 kills and 46 digs.
The Mustangs will be back in action Wednesday, Sept. 18 when they travel to Omaha, Neb. to play College of Saint Mary.
