Read the Weekly COVID-19 Update from Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021.

You can find the most updated dashboard numbers here, and the historical data here. For those interested, check out the recent trend reports from Siouxland District Health.

The campus will continue to operate in YELLOW. We continue to be very pleased with our numbers, and appreciative of everyone working hard to keep them that way. Keep wearing masks and following COVID-19 health and safety guidelines.

As a reminder, last week we began offering rapid testing at our on-campus Test Iowa site. These tests are free and available by appointment to all Morningside undergraduate students, faculty, and staff. We are doing significantly more testing as a result. Even with the increase in testing, our numbers have remained stable and low. We encourage students to continue using the Test Iowa site if you have been exposed or symptomatic. The rapid tests are an important tool in slowing the spread here on campus and beyond.

Finally, Student Health has seen a few students in the last week who appear to have some kind of stomach bug. Campus Nurse Judi Neswick is reminding all students to stay hydrated, rest, eat nutritious foods, and practice self-care to prevent or lessen the impact of such illnesses, as well as COVID-19.

Please continue to take good care of one another and yourselves.

Be well,

Spicer
