Samantha Umberger was named to the 2018 All-GPAC Women’s Tennis Team.
Samantha Umberger, a sophomore from Glenwood, Iowa, was named to the 2018 All-Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Tennis Team as selected by the league’s head coaches.
Umberger, selected as a No. 4 singles player, had a 9-5 singles record for a .643 winning percentage for the Mustangs’ second highest victory rate.
She had a 6-6 record in doubles competition.
Morningside posted an 8-9 record during the 2017-18 season and finished sixth in the GPAC standings with a 2-5 league mark.
