Pianist Tyler Nordstrom of South Sioux City, Neb., will perform his junior recital at Morningside College at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 7, in Eppley Auditorium.
Pianist Tyler Nordstrom of South Sioux City, Neb., will perform his junior recital at Morningside College at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 7, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The performance is free and open to the public. Nordstrom will perform works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Johann Sebastian Bach, Samuel Barber and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
Nordstrom is majoring in music and public history with a library studies emphasis. At Morningside College, he is a member of the jazz band and the jazz combo, and he plays piano for the student worship group Christ Connections. In the community, he regularly plays piano for Morningside Baptist Church. He aspires to complete a master’s degree in library science and obtain a position in that field.
