Students Paul Tucker and Megan Hart will present their senior art show Monday, April 30, through Sunday, May 6, in the Eppley Art Gallery.

Morningside College students Paul Tucker and Megan Hart will present their senior art show Monday, April 30, through Sunday, May 6, in the Eppley Art Gallery, 3625 Garretson Ave.

The gallery viewing is free and open to the public. The Eppley Art Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Tucker will exhibit paintings, drawings, graphic design and sculptures. He said he hopes that his art will affect viewers by invoking emotions artistically. Hart will showcase drawings, paintings, ceramic works, sculptures and intaglio prints. She said her work highlights her creative versatility and ability to work with many different mediums.

Tucker is a studio art major with minors in graphic design and business administration from St. Helens, England. At Morningside College, he has served as the public relations coordinator for the student-led Morningside Activities Council. In this position, he created posters for every event the activities council hosted on Morningside’s campus.

Hart is a studio art major with minors in engineering mechanics and sustainability studies from Shenandoah, Iowa. At Morningside College, she has served as an art judge for Kiosk, the literary and art magazine for Morningside’s students, faculty and alumni. She has also served as a student mentor for incoming art students.
