Morningside announced its 2017 track & field award winners.
Morningsidemen’s and women’s track & field head coach David Nash announced the Mustangs’ award winners for the 2017 indoor and outdoor seasons.
The award winners are:
Men’s MVPs – Perman Wilson, a junior from Lakeland, Fla.; Jacob Green, a junior from Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Reece Jackson, a sophomore from Marcus, Iowa.
Women’s MVPs – Tiffany Shepherd, a senior from Corning, Iowa; Eleka Joseph, a junior from Saint John’s, Antigua; Kati Kneifl, a sophomore from Sheldon, Iowa; and Michelle Mumm, a junior from Neola, Iowa.
Most Improved – Brynlee Loptin, a freshman from Bennington, Neb., and Chase Hiser, a freshman from Shenandoah, Iowa.
Comeback Runner of the Year – Katlynn Schreiner, a junior from Sioux Center, Iowa.
