If you are looking for exciting things to do in Sioux City, you’ve come to the right place! There are many fun activities to do with your friends around Morningside.

#1 – Tilt in the Southern Hills Mall

Located in Sioux City’s Southern Hills Mall, Tilt is an arcade that offers hundreds of your favorite arcade games, ranging from several of the classics to brand new games. Tilt also offers an indoor mini golf course with two different 18-hole mini golf courses. Along with this are a few mini obstacle courses and mini laser tag within the arcade. The area inside the mall is fairly large, with games that could be played for hours. To play, you can buy a card with preloaded points for each arcade game. These cards are reloadable and can be used every time you are back at Tilt!

#2 – Picnic at Charles Larsen Park

Charles Larsen Park is right on the riverfront. With new playgrounds and picnic areas, Charles Larsen Park offers a scenic view of the river with many options for activities. The river walk from the park stretches over 3 miles for walking, running, and biking. Sunset and sunrise can be seen from the park as well, making this the perfect place for a picnic or just a walk along the river with your friends. Pack your favorite lunch and enjoy a picnic at one of Sioux  City’s prettiest parks.

#3 – Sioux City Farmers Market

The Sioux City Farmers Market is located west of the Tyson Events Center in the parking area. The Sioux City Farmers Market is every Wednesday and Saturday from 8-1 pm. There are a variety of vendors and local food trucks at the Farmers Market. There are a variety of small shops selling homemade clothing, bakery items, candles, and so much more. There is also live music. Several flower farms also set up vendors there, making this the perfect place to grab a coffee and make a flower bouquet with your best friends. 

#4 – Tuesday Night United

Sunnybrook Community church offers a college ministry every Tuesday night for all college students in the Sioux City area. United is a night of community within the church, offering a message, worship, and free food for college kids to come hang out and make new friends. You don’t need to be a member of any church to attend. If you are looking to find faith, or just community with college students United might be a perfect event for you to attend every Tuesday night!
