Three Mustang volleyball players named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes
Three Morningside volleyball players were named 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Three players from Morningside College’s volleyball team were named 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
The Mustangs’ Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes are:
Maddie Dotzler, a junior outside hitter from Omaha, Neb., who has a 3.77 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with a major in social and behavioral science.
Nikki Oberfoell, a senior defensive specialist from Brighton, Colo., who has a 3.92cumulative GPA with a major in nursing.
Ashley Vande Stouwe, a senior middle blocker from Rock Rapids, Iowa, who has a 3.60 cumulative GPA with a major in elementary education.
Student-athletes must be of at least junior academic status and have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in order to be eligible for Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
