The Morningside College Symphonic Wind Ensemble will present a concert featuring music from around the world at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, in Eppley Auditorium.
The Morningside College Symphonic Wind Ensemble will present a concert featuring music from around the world at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The event is free and open to the public.
The program includes music from Ireland, France, Japan, Belgium and the United States. One piece, “Pavanne,” will feature faculty member Tony Hutchins on the trombone.
The Symphonic Wind Ensemble is the Morningside College concert band. It is under the direction of Shane Macklin, assistant professor of music at Morningside College.
