Student Drew Paulsen of Carroll, Iowa, will perform a senior recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, in Eppley Auditorium on the Morningside College campus.
Morningside College student Drew Paulsen of Carroll, Iowa, will perform a senior recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave, on the Morningside College campus.
This event is free and open to the public.
Paulsen will play the double bass and the cello. He will perform pieces by Bartόk, Brahms, Saint-Saëns, Dragonetti, Fauré and Chambers. Paulsen will be accompanied by Emily Widman and Stephanie March. The jazz portion of the recital will feature Terry Brooks on piano, Dylan Nelson on guitar, Ethan Newbrough on drums and Dylan Root on tenor saxophone.
Paulsen is a music education major. He wants to be a band director.
