Morningside is ranked 10th in the NAIA Softball Coaches Post-Season Top 25 Poll.
Morningside is ranked 10th in the nation in the NAIA Softball Coaches Post-Season Top 25 Poll released on June 8.
The Mustangs, who were ranked 15th in the final NAIA regular season poll, achieved their first top 10 NAIA national ranking in school history. Morningside compiled a 47-10 record this past season to set a school record for victories en route to it’s first-ever appearance in the NAIA Softball World Series. The Mustangs were Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) regular season and post-season tournament champions and punched their NAIA World Series ticket by winning the Morningside Bracket of the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round.
Morningside is the only team from the GPAC ranked in the NAIA Post-Season Top 25.
