Six Mustang tennis players were named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Six members from Morningside College’s men’s and women’s tennis teams were named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

The Mustangs’ tennis Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes are:

Katie Hanson, a junior from Saint Peter, Minn., who has a 3.86 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with majors in biology and chemistry.

Jon Hoaglund, a senior from Carroll, Iowa, who has a 3.98 cumulative GPA with majors in biology and chemistry.

Natasha Hongsermeier, a junior from Phillips, Neb., who has a 4.00 cumulative GPA with majors in biology and chemistry.

Megan Solberg, a senior from Mitchell, S.D., who has a 3.86 cumulative GPA with a major in nursing.

Alex Struck, a senior from Cherokee, Iowa, who has a 3.85 cumulative GPA with a major in English teaching.

Audri Swisher, a senior from Spearfish, S.D., who has a 4.00 cumulative GPA with majors in biology and chemistry.

Hoagland, Solberg, Struck, and Swisher were also named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes in 2014.

Student-athletes must be of at least junior academic status and have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in order to be eligible for Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
