Several Morningside swimmers were named to the 2014 Liberal Arts All-Championship Team for their performances at the 2014 Liberal Arts Swimming & Diving Championships.

Several Morningside swimmers were named to the 2014 Liberal Arts All-Championship Team for their performances at the 2014 Liberal Arts Swimming & Diving Championships held Feb. 13-15 in Elsah, Ill.

All-Championship Team distinction was given to swimmers who placed in the top four of an individual event or were part of a relay team that placed in the top two at the meet.

Morningside’s All-Championship Team selections were:

Tracy Gates in the women’s 200-yard and 1650-yard freestyles.

Hunter Haws in the men’s 100-yard butterfly.

Ben Kurz in the men’s 200, 500, and 1650-yard freestyles and the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Cole Malin in the men’s 50, 100, and 200-yard freestyles and 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays.

Taylor McCloskey in the men’s 100 and 200-yard butterflies.

Evan Persson in the men’s 200-yard freestyle relay.

Marko Spiric in the men’s 100-yard freestyle and 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays.

James Svoboda in the men’s 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays.
