Seven Mustangs named Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Soccer Scholar-Athletes
Seven players from Morningside’s men’s soccer team were named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Morningside College placed seven players from its men’s soccer team on the list of 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
The Mustangs’ Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes are:
Tim Erdmann, a junior goalkeeper from Hamburg, Germany, who has a perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with majors in business administration and international affairs.
Jared Jochum, a senior midfielder from Dakota Dunes, S.D., who has a 3.87 cumulative GPA with majors in biology and chemistry.
Hannes Kraft, a junior defender from Mildstedt, Germany, who has a 3.85 cumulative GPA with majors in political science and social and behavioral science.
Joschua Schanda, a junior midfielder from Villingen, Germany, who has a 3.98 cumulative GPA with a major in political science.
Tobias Schomerus, a junior defender from Heidelberg, Germany, who has a 3.98 cumulative GPA with a major in business administration.
Sebastian Schoon, a junior midfielder from Bielefeld, Germany, who has a perfect 4.00 cumulative GPA with a major in business administration.
Filipe Wolff, a junior forward from Sao Paulo, Brazil, who has a 3.84 cumulative GPA with a major in business administration.
Student-athletes must be of at least junior academic status and have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in order to be eligible for Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
