Nathalie Sanchez was named the GPAC Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Nathalie Sanchez, a junior from Bellevue, Neb., is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Golfer of the Week for March 27-April 2.
Sanchez was the Mustangs’ top performer at last week’s TPC Deere Run Invitational at the Midwest Collegiate Championships in East Moline, Ill., hosted by William Penn University. She had the Mustangs’ top individual score each day with an opening round 86 and a second round 83.
Sanchez finished with a two-day total of 169 strokes to lead the Mustangs to a seventh place finish in a 17-team field.
The Mustangs will compete in the Nebraska Wesleyan University Invitational on Thursday in Lincoln, Neb.
