Morningside College student Dylan Root of San Diego, Calif., will perform his senior recital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in Eppley Auditorium.
Morningside College student Dylan Root of San Diego, Calif., will perform his senior recital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The performance is free and open to the public. Root will perform pieces by Ibert, Cockcroft, Platti, Demersseman and Prangcharoen on alto and soprano saxophone.
Root will graduate in December 2019 with degrees in music education and music performance. He has performed at various events in the community, including recording with the Sioux City Rockestra and performing for Bill Clinton.
