SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside President John Reynders has announced a series of gatherings to be held across the United States entitled Excellence in All Things: Celebrating the Morningside College Experience.

Eight dates and locations are being offered that will provide an opportunity for alumni and friends to reconnect and get an update as Morningside wraps up its Vision 2020 Campaign and begins to look ahead.

“The Vision 2020 campaign will conclude this May and has been a great success,” said Reynders. “Thanks to our alumni and friends, our $50 million goal was exceeded. Incredible things were accomplished to enhance the student experience. That’s worth celebrating with the people who really love this place, while also highlighting some of the exciting things to come.”

Cities and dates where gatherings will be held are listed below. Exact times and locations are still being determined for most. Information will be updated online as it becomes available.

Each event will feature a presentation by President Reynders highlighting the accomplishments of the Vision 2020 Campaign and taking a look at what is ahead for Morningside. Gatherings will also include a social time with food and beverage and an opportunity to view a small 125th anniversary exhibit. The events are free and open to the public.  Participants are asked to RSVP here.

“The connections in our Morningside community are powerful. These gatherings are about celebrating those connections and keeping them strong well into the future,” said Reynders.
