Morningside College, fresh off a 42-34 victory over Great Plains Athletic Conference rival Northwestern College, found itself at the top of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics’ poll for a fourth straight week Monday, Oct. 22.

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Morningside College, fresh off a 42-34 victory over Great Plains Athletic Conference rival Northwestern College, found itself at the top of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics’ poll for a fourth straight week Monday, Oct. 22.

The Mustangs (8-0) earned 366 poll points and 15 of 16 first-place votes to top Marian College of Indiana who remained ranked second with 352 points and one first-place marker. Head coach Steve Ryan’s program has been within the NAIA top 25 in each of the last 146 polls and earned its 24th number one listing, good for fourth all-time.
