Morningside College professors Shannon Claxton and Anne Power recently presented at the annual Women in Educational Leadership Conference in Lincoln, Neb.

Their presentation was titled “Undergraduate Women’s Leadership Program: How to Develop and Implement an Undergraduate Women’s Leadership Program on Your Campus.” The Women in Educational Leadership Conference provides a forum for discussion of issues related to women in leadership positions in education and education-related fields.

Power, associate professor of business management, has been on the Morningside faculty since 2014. She is a former branch manager for U.S. Bank, and she has a doctorate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Claxton, assistant professor of psychology, has taught at Morningside College since 2015. She has a doctorate in experimental psychology from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
