Professors present at marketing educators’ conference

Two Morningside College professors recently presented at the Marketing Management Association Fall Educators’ Conference in Providence, R.I.
Marilyn Eastman, associate professor of marketing, presented and chaired a panel on “Productivity in a Small or One-Person Department”; presented a paper on “The Brand Project: Reinvention of a Principles of Marketing Course for the Digital Age”; and chaired a session on “Refereed Papers in Marketing Education Experiential Classrooms.”
Pam Mickelson, professor and chair of business administration at Morningside College, presented and chaired a panel on “Department Chair Challenges and Opportunities,” and she chaired a session on “Position Papers in Academic Development and Promotion for Marketing Educators.” Mickelson also was a judge for the AxcessCapon Innovative Teaching Competition.
Eastman has taught at Morningside College since the fall of 2015. She received her doctorate from the University of South Dakota.
Mickelson joined the faculty in 1988. She received her doctorate from Oklahoma State University.
