Christina Triezenberg, assistant professor of English, recently presented a paper at the Midwest Modern Language Association’s annual conference in St. Louis.
Christina Triezenberg, assistant professor of English at Morningside College, recently presented a paper at the Midwest Modern Language Association’s annual conference in St. Louis.
Her paper, “Harnessing the Emotional Power of Ann Petry’s ‘The Street,’ Spike Lee’s ‘Do the Right Thing,’ and the Artifacts of of the Jim Crow Museum to Explore American Racism,” was presented as part of the Multicultural Literature in the Classroom section of the convention.
Triezenberg joined the Morningside College faculty in the fall of 2016 as an assistant professor of English. She holds a doctorate in English from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.
