Alex O’Neill was named a Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Golf Scholar-Athlete.
Alex O’Neill, a senior from Ponca, Neb., has been named a 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete in the sport of men’s golf.
O’Neill has a 3.56 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with majors in business administration and political science.
O’Neill had an overall scoring average of 80.3 strokes per 18 holes over the Mustangs’ fall and spring seasons.
Student-athletes must be of at least junior academic status and have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in order to be eligible for Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
