Mustang freshman Brittni Olson received honorable mention all-region honors.
Brittni Olson, a 6-1 freshman middle blocker from Sioux City, received honorable mention All-West Central Region recognition from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).
Olson averaged 2.55 kills per set and led the Mustangs’ attack with 350 kills and a .323 hitting percentage. Olson was the Mustangs’ top defensive presence at the net with team-high totals of 23 solo blocks and 146 block assists for an average of 1.23 blocks per set.
Her exploits helped lead the Mustangs to a 20-15 record and a berth in this year’s NAIA Volleyball National Championship tournament.
