Nathan Glisar, a 6-4 guard from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, will enroll at Morningside College this fall and compete for the Mustangs’ men’s basketball team announced Morningside men’s basketball head coach Jim Sykes. Glisar is a senior at Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School, where he is a four-year starter.

Nathan Glisar, a 6-4 guard from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, will enroll at Morningside College this fall and compete for the Mustangs’ men’s basketball team announced Morningside men’s basketball head coach Jim Sykes.

Glisar is a senior at Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School, where he is a four-year starter. Glisar is the Warriors’ leading scorer this season with an average of 19.1 points per game to go along with averages of 5.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He has made 84 of 175 field goal attempts for 48.0 percent and converted 46 of 65 free throw attempts for 70.8 percent.

He received second-team All-Missouri River Activities Conference (MRAC) honors in addition to fifth-team Sioux City Journal All-Northwest Iowa and honorable mention all-metro honors as a junior. Glisar was the Warriors’ leading scorer with an average of 12.8 points per game during his junior campaign. He also averaged 5.2 rebounds per game and dealt 73 assists for a norm of 3.3 per contest. He made 107 of 257 field goal attempts for 41.6 percent and 36 of 48 free throw attempts for 75.0 percent.

Glisar averaged 9.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game as a sophomore en route to second-team All-MRAC laurels. He was the Warriors’ fourth leading scorer with an average of 6.7 points per game as a freshman.
