Suzanna Gonzalez and Connor Bjellum made the Liberal Arts All-Championship Team.
Suzanna Gonzalez, a junior from Trabuco Canyon, Calif., and Connor Bjellum, a freshman from Fargo, N.D., were named to the Liberal Arts All-Championship Team for their performances at last week’s Liberal Arts Championships swimming & diving meet in Elsah, Ill.
An athlete must place in the top three of an individual event or be on a relay team that places in the top three to make to the All-Championship Team.
Gonzalez, also named the Women’s Swimmer of the Meet, won the 500 and 1650-yard freestyles and placed second in the 200-yard freestyle.
Bjellum finished first in the men’s 200-yard freestyle and placed third in the 100-yard freestyle.
