The GPAC women’s soccer coaches tabbed Morningside for a fourth place finish in the conference preseason poll.
Morningside is tabbed for a fourth place finish in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Preseason Poll.
Morningside returns 14 letter winners, including five starters, from a team that posted a 10-8-2 record last season and finished fifth in the GPAC standings with a 6-3-1 league mark. The Mustangs reached the championship game of the GPAC Post-Season Tournament, where they suffered a 3-1 loss against Concordia.
The Mustangs will open the 2017 campaign with a 1 p.m. home game against Jamestown on Saturday, Aug. 26.
