Mustangs have three Daktronics-NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes
Three players from the Morningside baseball team received the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete award.
Three players from Morningside’s baseball team are 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
The Mustangs’ Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes are:
Blake Meacham, a senior outfielder from Sioux City, who has a 3.59 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with a major in business administration.
Eric Salmonson, a senior catcher from Omaha, Neb., who has a 3.83 cumulative GPA with majors in managerial accounting and business administration.
Cody Selig, a junior pitcher from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, who has a 3.55 cumulative GPA with majors in business administration and applied agricultural and food studies.
Student-athletes must be of at least junior academic status and have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in order to be eligible for Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
