Morningside has announced its 2014 track & field award winners.

Morningside College announced its 2014 track & field award winners at this past weekend’s post-season banquet.

Men’s Most Valuable Player awards were presented to Mark Abrams, a sophomore from Glenwood, Iowa; Garret Ehlers, a senior from Ida Grove, Iowa; and Jay Welp, a junior from Marcus, Iowa.

Women’s Most Valuable Player awards were presented to Nicole Ausborn, a junior from Nora Springs, Iowa; and Neeia Cooperwood, a junior from Omaha, Neb.

Most Improved awards were presented to Nic Austin, a senior from Sioux City; Ben VanDyke, a sophomore from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; and Mariah Wills, a freshman from Spirit Lake, Iowa.

Comeback awards were presented to Madison Fisher, a junior from Sibley, Iowa; and Allison Schreiner, a sophomore from Remsen, Iowa.

Give Back awards were presented to Kyle Hiser, a freshman from Shenandoah, Iowa; and Jake Simpson, a freshman from Jefferson, Iowa.
