Defending GPAC champion Morningside is ranked 14th in the nation in the NAIA Pre-Season Men’s Cross Country Poll.
Morningside is ranked 14th in the nation in the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Coaches’ Pre-Season Top 25 Poll.
The Mustangs return five of their top nine runners from last season, including All-GPAC runners Mark Abrams, Alec DeVries, and Jay Welp from a team that won the GPAC championship and finished 12th at last year’s NAIA National Championships.
The only other GPAC team ranked in the NAIA Pre-Season Top 25 is Concordia, which is ranked 21st.
Morningside will open the season on Sept. 5 at the Augustana College Twilight meet in Sioux Falls, S.D.
