The Morningside men’s golf team shot a 288 today at the Grand View Invitational in Polk City, IA, which puts them in second place headed into day two.
POLK CITY, Iowa | The Morningside men’s golf team shot a 288 today at the Grand View Invitational in Polk City, IA, which puts them in second place headed into day two. The Mustangs are eight strokes behind Bellevue University’s (Neb.) men’s golf team. Bellevue posted a 280 in the opening round.
Morningside golfers Sam Storey and Corey Matthew are tied for fifth with rounds of 71. Cody Holck shot a 72, Jonathan Douglas shot a 74, and Connor Prescott had an 88 on the day.
The men will be back in action for day two of the Grand View Invitational tomorrow morning.
