The Morningside College Music Department will present a chamber ensemble concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 10, in Eppley Auditorium.
The Morningside College Music Department will present a chamber ensemble concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 10, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The performance is free and open to the public.
The concert will feature students in the percussion ensemble, the brass ensemble, the saxophone ensemble and the trombone choir.
The recital will include pieces such as “Bayport Sketch” by Jared Spears, “Outbound” by Chris Crockarell, “Lassus Saxes” by Henry Fillmore, and “Cafe St. Germain” by Toshio Mashima.
The Morningside College chamber ensembles perform a wide variety of literature written for their respective instrumentation. Membership in the ensembles is through audition or faculty recommendation.
