Morningside University will inaugurate Chad Benson as its 14th President on Thursday, October 1, 2026. The historic occasion takes place during Homecoming week, welcoming students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members to join in the celebration.

The afternoon’s events will unfold in Eppley Auditorium and are open to the public:

• 2:00–3:30 PM — Investiture Ceremony, Eppley Auditorium
• 3:30–5:30 PM — Celebration, Lobby and Eppley Auditorium

The investiture marks a meaningful moment for the Morningside community as it looks ahead with optimism and shared purpose. Guests are warmly encouraged to attend and be part of this milestone in the university’s history.
