The first annual Morningside Business Networking and Case Competition, presented by Sterling Computers, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 5 on the Morningside College campus.

Sioux City, IA – The first annual Morningside Business Networking and Case Competition, presented by Sterling Computers, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 5 on the Morningside College campus.

The purpose of the event is to provide a forum for regional business students to participate in a business case competition, learn from industry experts, network with other students and business professionals, and have the opportunity to attend a career fair. Cash prizes totaling $1,000 will be awarded to the winners of the case competition and the Great West Casualty Personal Branding Pitch Competition.

The event will begin with a tour of Sterling Computers in North Sioux City before students return to Morningside to prepare and present their solutions for the case competition. Following the case competition, students can talk with organizations at the career fair and compete in the personal branding pitch competition before participating in two business breakout sessions.

The Department of Accounting and Business at Morningside College educates students in core business competencies through curricular and extensive experiential opportunities to challenge them to become engaged, ethical, and globally aware business leaders.
