Taysia Aasen, soprano, will present a junior half recital on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 3 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium on Morningside’s campus. The performance is free and open to the public.Taysia AasenTaysia Aasen

Aasen is a vocal music education major from Sioux Falls, S.D. She studies with Shannon Salyards Burton and will be accompanied by Kate Saulsbury. Aasen serves as an apartment manager for Morningside’s residence life department, and she is a member of the Morningside Choir, National Association for Music Education – Collegiate, and the Connie Wimer Women’s Leadership Program.

The Morningside University School of Visual and Performing Arts provides immersive opportunities for Morningside students and the Siouxland community to experience the power of music and the fine arts.
