Nathan Kitrell will present an instrument recital on April 3 at 3 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium.

Nathan Kitrell, a music education major at Morningside University, will present an instrument recital on April 3 at 3 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium on Morningside’s campus. The recital is free and open to the public.

Kitrell studies alto saxophone with Anna Scott, the applied saxophone instructor at Morningside. He will perform works by Pierre Lantier, Phillip Glass, Alexander Glazunov, and Dennis Anderson. Kitrell’s recital will also include a piece arranged by Him Voxman. In addition to saxophone, Kitrell is involved in the Morningside Choir, M Avenue Jazz, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the Pride of Morningside Marching Band, Morningside’s chapter of the Collegiate National Association for Music Education (CNAfME), and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Gamma Xi Chapter.

The Morningside University School of Visual and Performing Arts provides immersive opportunities for Morningside students and the Siouxland community to experience the power of music and the fine arts.
