Emily Stiernagle will present a clarinet recital on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium.

Emily Stiernagle, a music education major at Morningside University, will present a clarinet recital on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium on Morningside’s campus. The recital is free and open to the public.

Stiernagle is from Waterville, Minn. and she studies with Martin Gaines, assistant professor of music and director of instrumental activities at Morningside. She will perform works by Franz Krommer, Alfred Reed, Toru Takemitsu, Franz Schubert, and John Williams. In addition to music, Stiernagle is involved in the Connie Wimer Women’s Leadership program, Omicron Delta Kappa honor society, and the National Association for Music Educators – Collegiate.

The Morningside University School of Visual and Performing Arts provides immersive opportunities for Morningside students and the Siouxland community to experience the power of music and the fine arts.
