Morningside’s School of Visual and Performing Arts holds auditions for Shakespeare production

Morningside University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts is holding open auditions on June 4, 5, and 6 for its summer production of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Auditions will be held at Klingler-Neal Theater (3700 Peters Ave.) at the following times:

  • June 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • June 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • June 6 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Participants may come to auditions with a prepared classical monologue or receive a monologue at the auditions. Performances of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will take place on July 30, July 31, and August 1 at the Buhler Outdoor Performance Center on Morningside’s campus. Performance times are forthcoming.
