Morningside ranked among best online master’s in special education programs

Sioux City, IA – Morningside College’s online Master of Arts in Teaching: Special Education program has been named among the Best Online Master’s in Special Education programs for 2020 by Online Schools Report, a site that aims to provide students with information about online programs throughout the United States.

Ranked no. 8, Morningside’s online Master of Arts in Teaching: Special Education program builds on teachers’ experiences in elementary or secondary education and broadens their impact through engaging coursework that explores educational theory, research, and practice. The program is 100% online and requires 36 graduate credits that are completed in two 18-credit parts.

The Master of Arts in Teaching: Special Education track is one of two Master of Arts in Teaching options in Morningside’s Sharon Walker School of Education Graduate Education program. Both the Master of Arts in Teaching: Special Education and Master of Arts in Teaching: Professional Educator programs can be completed 100% online. Morningside also offers graduate-level endorsements for Iowa teachers, online courses through educational partners, and post-bachelor's teacher intern program and special education certification only program.
