The Morningside Jazz Ensemble will present its year-end concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, in Eppley Auditorium on the Morningside College campus.

The Morningside Jazz Ensemble will present its year-end concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave., on the Morningside College campus.

The event is free and open to the public.

During the concert, Morningside College students will perform big band music under the direction of Dr. Erik Mahon, assistant professor of music and director of jazz studies at Morningside.

The Morningside Jazz Ensemble regularly performs on the Morningside College campus and in the community, and it has participated in competitions throughout the Midwest. The group is open to any Morningside College student who wishes to play jazz and improve their improvisation skills. Membership is determined through audition.
