Morningside College will present “Uh-Oh! A New Musical for Families” at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday, July 14, and at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, in the Buhler Outdoor Performance Center, 3625 Garretson Ave., on the college’s campus.

Morningside College will present “Uh-Oh! A New Musical for Families” at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday, July 14, and at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, in the Buhler Outdoor Performance Center, 3625 Garretson Ave., on the college’s campus.

Performances are free and open to the public. In the event of rain, performances will move to Klinger-Neal Theatre, 3700 Peters Ave., on the Morningside campus.

In the musical, Little Red Riding Hood gets more than a little off the path as she goes to visit her grandmother in the woods. She meets the Three Little Pigs who have also had an unfortunate encounter with the same wolf.  What seems one way turns out to be the other and Little Red’s adventure in the woods goes from easy sneezy to a total uh-oh! 

The musical was written by Diana Guhin Wooley, CEO of LAMB Arts LTD in Sioux City. It is being performed by LAMB Arts Regional Theatre’s LAMB Caravan. Cast members are Grace Powell, Melody R. Beaulieu, Jacob Licht, Grace Beumler, Mara Aesoph and Elizabeth Paz.
