Morningside College will present its annual spring jazz concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27, in Eppley Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
Morningside College will present its annual spring jazz concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The concert is free and open to the public. The directors of the jazz ensembles are Tim Watson and Russ Nagel.
The Morningside College Jazz Band performs music written for big band. The ensemble is open to students that play trumpet, trombone, saxophone, trap set, piano, bass or guitar.
Eclectix Vocal Jazz Ensemble performs an eclectic mix of jazz, show and pop tunes both a cappella and with a rhythm section. The ensemble has been featured at jazz festivals, on public radio broadcasts and at local events throughout the Siouxland community.
