Morningside College will confer 340 Master of Arts in Teaching degrees at its graduate commencement ceremony at 2 p.m. June 11 in Eppley Auditorium.

Morningside also will award an honorary degree to Dr. Glenna J. Tevis, professor emeritus of education at Morningside. Tevis served as professor of education and director of graduate studies at Morningside from 1992 until her retirement in 2013.
The Owens Master’s Award for Professional Service will be presented to Autumn Reisetter, a special education teacher in the Oskaloosa, Iowa, High School. Reisetter received her Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Morningside in 2015.
