Morningside College will present an instrumental studios recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 28, in Eppley Auditorium.

Morningside College will present an instrumental studios recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 28, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.  This event is free and open to the public. 

It will feature student solos, faculty solos and small group performances.

The instrumental instructors are Tony Hutchins, assistant professor and director of instrumental jazz and applied low brass; Cassandra Bechard, artist faculty for applied bassoon; Brian Hanegan, artist faculty for applied saxophone and jazz; and Ellen Shirley, artist faculty for applied flute.

Students performing in the recital are Sarah Hutchins, Zach Richardson and Jade Sanchez of Sioux City; Melanie Gehrts and Liz Ross of Cherokee, Iowa; Jocelyn Wolff of Hinton, Iowa; Lynae Toom of Pella, Iowa; Dillon Stane of Silver City, Iowa; Halley Plemel of Montevideo, Minn.; and Gigi Austin of Oakdale, Minn.
