The Morningside College Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, in Eppley Auditorium.
The Morningside College Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
The ensemble will perform a variety of music, including march music, Middle Eastern music and Americana music. They will also perform music from the movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” while featuring a video presentation of the photography of Vivian Maier.
The Symphonic Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Shane Macklin, assistant professor of music at Morningside College.
