Morningside College presents Fourth of July concert and fireworks with U.S. Air Force Band
The U.S. Air Force Heartland of America Band will perform a special patriotic concert at 8 p.m. on July 4 in the Buhler Outdoor Performance Center, 3625 Garretson Ave., on the Morningside College campus. The Fourth of July holiday concert will end with a fireworks display.

Stationed at Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha, Neb., the professional musicians in the Heartland of America Band have mastered a broad range of musical styles from classic to contemporary, jazz to country, and pop to rock. The band reaches more than one million people annually through live, radio and television appearances
In the event of rain, the concert will move to Eppley Auditorium on the Morningside campus.
The Fourth of July concert is part of Morningside’s Betty Ling Tsang Summer Fine Arts Series. Other productions scheduled for the summer include the children’s musical “Uh-Oh” on July 14 and 15, and the Broadway musical “The Robber Bridegroom” on Aug. 4 and 5.
All performances are free and open to the public.
