Morningside College recently announced the student editors for the next two issues of Kiosk, the college’s literary and arts magazine.

Madison Monahan, a senior English major from Hartford, S.D., will serve as editor-in-chief of the magazine for the 2018 issue, which comes out in April.

Amy Carothers, a junior English and theatre major from Fort Myers, Fla., will be editor-in-chief for the 2019 issue.

Kiosk has been published by the English and art departments at Morningside since 1938. It has won the Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s Gold Crown Award, the highest honor in the country for a magazine of its type.

Several past editors-in-chief of Kiosk are now working in editing and publishing, including Laura Goodrich, a 2010 graduate who is senior content development specialist at Elsevier Information and Analytics in St. Louis, Mo., and Hannah Hecht, a 2015 graduate who is an editor at Penguin Books in New York City.
